S.T.E.M. Field Trip Program

Integrate education and fun with our unique S.T.E.M. field trips!

Our three-hour program combines Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) education with physical activity, offering students an engaging and interactive learning experience.

Program Structure

S.T.E.M. Education (1 Hour)

Students participate in one of our seven S.T.E.M. lessons that demonstrate the relationship between S.T.E.M. concepts and roller skating. Topics include motion, force, friction, sound waves, the Doppler Effect, light waves, design, and geometry. Lessons are conducted by a trained educator, ensuring an interactive and informative session.

Physical Education through Skating (2 Hours)

Students apply the concepts they’ve learned by engaging in two hours of roller skating. This activity not only reinforces their understanding but also promotes physical fitness, with the potential to burn up to 1,000 calories during the session. For beginners, we provide “skatemates” to assist with balance and ensure a positive experience.

Lunch Break

After the lesson, students enjoy lunch from our café. Each meal includes one slice of pizza, a drink, and a bag of chips.

Educational Standards

Our lesson plans are copyrighted and align with the Next Generation Science Standards and Common Core Math Standards, ensuring a high-quality educational experience.

With Lunch:

$18 per student

Teachers enjoy complimentary meals as a token of our appreciation. Chaperones can purchase lunch from our menu.

School Skate Night

Promote school spirit and community engagement with our School Skate Night fundraisers! These events offer a fun-filled evening of skating while raising funds for your school.

$10 per skater, including rentals.

$9 per skater if they bring their own skates.

Fundraising Benefit

20% of admission sales from the event are donated back to your school, supporting programs and initiatives.
